Vidisco releases Blazex, the latest model in digital X-ray systems

Vidisco Ltd. has launched a new model in its X series, the Blazex, which includes many of the unique qualities of Vidisco's veteran Rayzorx and Flashx portable digital X-ray systems.
The characteristics include remarkable penetration, ruggedness, portability, and battery operated flexibility, DC pushed down the line, and specialised software. An additional new lightweight Si digital flat panel with an X-ray imaging area of 260 X 320 mm (~10.2 X 12.6 inch), resolution of 3.97 lp/mm (127 µm pixel pitch), and 14 bit dynamic range. Vidisco now offers 6 interchangeable imagers including 3 flat amorphous Silicon digital panels.

Vidisco’s array of accessories will accompany this new system as well: The XR-DE, which is the pioneering solution worldwide to differentiate between organic and inorganic material using golden pulsed X-ray sources; The Wifi-x, which now provides 300m line of sight and can be extended to 1500m line of sight; and the WXR, which offers compact, battery-free wireless X-ray capabilities for golden pulsed sources. Blazex proprietary Xbit software is an all-in-one, user-friendly package which serves as a powerful work tool. Equipped with a powerful database, images are grabbed, analysed and stored on the spot.
