Reading, Berkshire (UK)

The GJD D-Tect external movement detector range with new advanced features is now available through Norbain
For nearly 30 years, GJD has been committed to improving the quality and enhancing the performance of its products. This has resulted in recent innovative improvements to their range of D-Tect external movement detectors.

In response to customer feedback, GJD have added some stunning features to make product installation faster and easier than ever before, with added performance and functionality.

Comprising D-Tect2/3 8-30m, or D-Tect50 25-50m detection coverage, the D-Tect2/50 is available with a quad element PIR, or for quad element PIR & Microwave Technology, there's the D-Tect3.

The advanced features of the D-Tect range of BS8418 compliant PIR, 'Dual tech' and wireless external movement detectors includes a unique signal processing and optical system, plus front and back tamper switches; crucial factors when choosing products suitable for BS8418 compliant monitored CCTV systems.

D-Tect detectors now feature a IP65 zinc alloy housing with new front locking screw, a new top circuit board incorporating EOL resistors and programme button - for easier access to the terminal connections, and 6 programming options (including unique electronic range adjustment).

When the wired or wireless detectors are triggered, they can individually, or simultaneously control and activate CCTV cameras, security lights, DVRs, autodialers and virtually any low-voltage switching device. The D-Tectx wireless detector also has an impressive line of sight range of up to 500 metres.

"GJD do not rest on their laurels, with continuous product development ensuring they stay ahead of the competition," says Dave Kelly, Norbain's intruder products divisional director. "In a very competitive market they are seen as a stable solution for a range of anti-intrusion requirements and their new range of D-Tect external movement detectors proves just that."
