The Forum is held under the esteemed patronage of the UAE Minister of Interior, His Royal Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan. In line with the World Civil Defence theme of “Disaster Reduction within Sustainable Development”, the Forum discusses emergency response and resilience building for the UAE. The UAE Fire Safety Technology Forum is held publicly and invites professionals from the public and private sector to join the debate.

The full day itinerary will begin with registration at 8am shortly by an introductory address before proceeding the five main presentations of the day, all conducted by senior specialists in their respective fields and covering specific subject areas including, Risk Profiling and Emergency Preparednes, The Role of the Incident Commander and Multi Agency Interface at Major Emergencies, Analysing recent petrochemical accidents and applying lessons learnt, Emergency planning for safety in areas of mass public assembly and Cruise ship incidents and maritime safety.

There will also be a tour of an associated exhibition and the day will conclude with a discussion forum with the speakers.
