The demand was for high quality, high resolution images in order to combat possible cheating and to monitor the gaming. The G Casino in Luton, which is part of a nationwide chain of casinos operated by Rank, opened at the end of February 2007. It is equipped with over seventy cameras which are a combination of internal, external and fully functional dome cameras - many with built-in Sanyo pan-focus technology.

Sanyo pan-focus optics enable the camera to focus on all objects in the field of view. With a huge depth of field, as a result, clear images are consistently generated without any need for focus adjustments.
