The companhy is marketing the new products as new "groundbreaking access control product developments" and the Entrostar as the world's first PoE+ enabled Bacnet access control unit.

This means open connectivity to any Bacnet compliant building management system and the ability to power up to 2 locks and 4 readers without need for an external power supply.

Entrostar is available in 1 or 2 door and Assa Abloy HI-O variants. To compliment Entrostar, Remsdaq is launching Entrowatch. This entry level access control, video management and ID badging system is license free and designed to require no training to implement.

Entrowatch is upgradeable to support any Bacnet digital IO device such as fire alarm and intruder alarm panels.

Remsdaq specialises in the design and manufacture of security solutions including, access control, integrated security management and perimeter intrusion detection systems.
