The move brings users a more convenient way to manage PTZ IP surveillance cameras other than using the mouse. Planet has introduced the CV3-JS100, a 3-axis control joystick which offers easy control of PTZ IP cameras including upwards, downwards, left, right, zoom in and zoom out control.
By integrating the CV3-JS100 with the Plane video surveillance management software (CV3P & CV3L) and central management software (CMS), the CMS adds scalability to the existing CV3P and NVR (NVR-401/810/1610/3210) solution, the most convenient solution for administrators to easily control and manage the IP camera even when it is far away at a remote site. The joystick CV3-JS100 simply connects to the USB port on the computer, where it is automatically detected by the software and PTZ IP camera control can then start immediately.

Planet provides simple IP surveillance control with joystick

In order to improve and simplify the control PTZ IP cameras at remote terminals and control centres, Planet has released a 3-axis joystick controller that can be easily connected to a remote terminal/PC via USB port with the Planet surveillance management software.
