Philippines gear up for ADAS 2014 event

Manila, Philippines

According to organisers, APAC Expo Pte Ltd, ADAS 2014 is the only Philippine Event that is endorsed and fully supported by the Department of National Defence, the Coast Guard and Office of Transportation Security.
ADAS 2014 is designed to offer exhibitors a unique opportunity to network with decision makers representing relevant Government Agencies as well as the VIP Delegations from key countries in the Asia Pacific region.

It is hoped that the show will provide the opportunity to meet and discuss the procurement requirements of the Armed Forces Philippines covering the first five years of a fifteen year modernisation programme.  There are many upgrade/procurement programmes already contracted, whilst others are currently being negotiated or being planned.  Major contracts already signed by the Philippine Air Force include the purchase of fighters and helicopters with a total value of US$528 million with much more to come.

The Philippine Air Force, Navy, Army, Office of Transportation Security and Office of Civil Defence will be presenting Symposiums to run concurrently with the ADAS 2014 Exhibition. Over 600 invited delegates are expected to attend the Symposiums during the three day event.

New bookings from Global bellwether companies include: Bell Helicopters (USA), Brahmos Aerospace (India), Hyundai (Korea), KB Radar (Belarus), Korean Aerospace Industries (Korea), Navantia (Spain), Remington (USA), SAAB (Sweden), and Airbus Defence and Space (Spain) to mention but a few who will be exhibiting at this years’ most highly anticipated Defence, Security and Crisis Management Event being held in the Philippines after an absence of more than a decade.

The event will take place at the World Trade Centre, Metro Manila in the Philippines from the 16th -18th July 2014.
