Personal security pager with smart alarms

Ottobrunn, Germany

Bosch Security Systems has introduced a new PS (Personal Security) Pager with smart alarms that can be programmed to detect emergency situations without the alarm being activated by the user.

Like the standard PS-Pager, the new PS-Pager with automatic alarms features two programmable manual alarms. In addition, however, it features automatic man-down, no-move and fast-move alarms. It also includes a tear-off alarm that can be activated immediately by the user in panic situations or when the PS-Pager is being grabbed by someone else.

The central control room continuously monitors the system and can also ask the user for a manual confirmation that the system is working correctly. In addition, a new mobile self-test function checks if the unit is operating correctly, adding an extra dimension to safety. This self-test function can be initiated automatically or manually by the user at any time.

Like the standard PS-Pager, the new PS-Pager with automatic alarms is designed for easy message reading and handling with a reversible top display for hands-free reading, an automatic scroll function, and clearly recognizable icons. It also features embedded RF-based location detection, enabling response teams to be directed quickly to the scene of an incident.

The PS-Pager with automatic alarms is fully compatible with existing Bosch Paging and Personal Security Systems which can interface with, for example, building management, CCTV, nurse-call and fire-detection systems.
