Panasonic SD cameras hits 2 million sales milestone

Panasonic System Solutions Europe celebrates achieving a milestone of 2 million unit sales of their Super Dynamic (SD) Camera Series since the introduction of the technology in 1997.
Super Dynamic technology was developed by Panasonic to allow its cameras to combine the best scenes from two different shutter speed images to reproduce both bright and dark areas at the same time, unachievable by conventional cameras due to their limited dynamic range.

Now in its third generation, Super Dynamic III (SDIII) delivers unprecedented levels of intelligence and performance. Not only does it boast an impressive 128x dynamic range, SDIII cameras also come equipped with a Super Dynamic Digital Signal Processor, Auto Back Focus, natural colour reproduction, Scene Change Detection and an Automatic Image Stabiliser. Furthermore, SDIII can be found in both analogue cameras such as the WV-CP480 Series and in the i-Pro range of network cameras such as the recently launched WV-NS950 and the WV-NW960 series.
