OT Systems transmit HD-SDI signals

Hong Kong, China

OT Systems is offering comprehensive HD-SDI transmission solutions that handle HD-SDI signals in various mediums.
As HD-SDI cameras prevail, transmission of such high bandwidths of signals becomes a concern, especially over long distances. OT Systems fibre optic converters, SDI Signal Extender, and SDI-HDMI Converter offer the convenience and flexibility of HD-SDI signals transmission and conversion.

This line of products supports optical transmission of non-compressed HD-SDI or SD-SDI signal format as well as PTZ control data through one multimode or singlemode optical fibre. It makes use of the advantage of optical fibre for extending the signal up to 20km (and more) yet retaining excellent video quality. It is designed to support SMPTE 259M and 292M standards. It supports a data rate up of to 1.485Gbps and resolution 720p50/60, 1080i50/60 and 1080p25/30.

The SDI signal extender transmits HD-SDI signals, and is also equipped with Power Over Coax (PoC) and RS485 Data transmission functions, all over one coaxial cable. It offers the installer great convenience when power or data cable cannot be wired at remote camera sites. The product extends transmission distances up to 200m (data rate 1.485Gbps) and 130m (data rate 2.97Gbps) with RG-6 coaxial cable.

The SDI/HDMI Converter converter offers a very cost-effective solution for converting SDI signals to HDMI signals, which is the most common input interface on most HD monitors. The converter has an SDI output for cascading HD-SDI signal to other converters. It supports a data rate of up to 2.97Gbps.

These latest HD-SDI transmission solutions will have their debut on the OT Systems stand at Security Essen 2012 later his month in Essen, Germany.
