With significant growth in the global smart home market on the rise, the company’s international expansion builds on the market leading domestic success of its proven 2GIG home security and control system and related products, which has over 3 million system installations to date.

According to a new report published by Marketsandmarkets, “The smart homes market is expected to grow to $58.68 billion by 2020, at an estimated CAGR of 17% from 2015 to 2020. There has been a significant growth in the global market due to the demand for energy efficient solutions and enhanced home security. Both accounted for 65% of the total smart homes product market in 2014, yet North America led the global smart homes market in 2014 with the share of 37% of the global market.”
