New software for access control systems for small to medium size premises

Eindhoven, The Netherlands

The Access Personal Edition, the new software for access control systems from Bosch, is a modular solution that is perfectly suited for use in small and medium-sized premises, offices, production plants and military facilities. The new software also fits the bill for the German Economic Federation for Civil Servants in Bonn, meeting its each and every requirement.

The access control system from Bosch in operation at the German Economic Federation for Civil Servants comprises Access Personal Edition and three access control panels, along with 16 card readers, which have been seamlessly integrated into the existing intercom system and adapted to its design. The system is used by a total of 150 associates with access rights.

Access Personal Edition is a good starting point for applications that demand a high level of security, but do not require an extensive and complex access control system. It is based on the intelligent access control hardware platform from Bosch that communicates via the TCP/IP and RS485 protocols, enabling seamless system transition to the Access Engine (ACE) for the Building Integration System from Bosch, which is particularly useful when users want to upgrade the range of functions offered by the access control system. Access Personal Edition also has the added benefit of a favorable price-performance ratio.
Ulrich Seidel, account manager at Bosch Security Systems, adds: "This was also decisive for the German Economic Federation for Civil Servants".
