New security show in Kuwait

Realising the needs of a private sector role in making this endeavour a success, Global Connection - a subsidiary of Infocenter, and a pioneer in exhibition and conference management in Kuwait, is now launching the first conference and exhibition specifically for the Safety, Security, Health and Environment sectors in Kuwait from 10 - 12 April. The venue is the Kuwait Regency Palace Hotel. Securexpo will be held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed Al Fahad Al Sabah, Minister of Oil & Petroleum.

Safety, Security, Health and Environment have become major issues of concern in Kuwait and its neighbouring countries. This is at the top of the agenda for the government, due to the hazardous work environment and the political situation in the region. Safety and Security have not been particularly important in the past in Kuwait. Although safety awareness has improved, the regulations are not yet as stringent as in Europe. In order to catch up with international standards Kuwait is now tightening its regulations. So there is a huge market potential for those companies, who enter this market early.

A trade hub for Iraq
Kuwaits position as a trade hub for Iraq, increases demand further for safety and security products and services for real estate companies, hotels, hospitals, retailers, ministries and government authorities in Iraq. Due to high demand for supply from Kuwait, the local government is planning to launch a trade zone at its northern border, close to Iraq. This will facilitate the supply of commodities from all other nations through Kuwait.
Seminars
Alongside the exhibition there is a series of seminars planned with keynote presentations by distinguished speakers from the industry.
Securexpo expects visitors from the regional countries such as GCC, Iraq, Syria, Iran, Lebanon etc. The event enables interaction directly with the end-users as well as professionals in the respective fields.
