The V5 new design includes a range of new hardware and software features, and is the result of the joint efforts from Brickcom's R&D team and customers from all parts of the world.
The V5 fixed box cameras come with many new features and enhancements. From the hardware point of view, there are 2 new features for the V5 network cameras. The real-time clock function of the V5 cameras is designed to maintain accurate time even if power is off for days, while the temperature alarm feature is able to respond to abnormal ambient temperatures and notify the user.
From the software point of view, the on-screen display for Focuseasy is available via the TV-out interface. This function offers the user clear visual information in the Focuseasy process. And, each V5 network camera has support for an SDXC memory card.
The first 2 models of the V5 series fixed-box IP cameras are FB-200Np and FB-300Np and are set to be available from April 2014 at Brickcom.
