Before his appointment at Nedap, Van der Zee held various – senior – management positions at GE Healthcare, both in the Netherlands and abroad. He has a Master degree in Business Engineering. Van der Zee started his career in the Dutch Royal Navy, where he was commissioned as a submarine officer.
