Milipol Qatar to be held from 17-19 November 2008

The Milipol Qatar exhibition is being organised for the 7th time by the ministry of interior, state of Qatar from 17-19 November 2008 at the Qatar international exhibition centre in Doha.


Milipol Qatar is an international exhibition for internal state security and provides an ideal place for suppliers of security products and services to meet relevant decision-makers and advisors from around the world and especially from the Middle East, the Near East and Asia.

The state of Qatar, with its central location within the region, its dynamic economic growth and increasingly important global political role, is the ideal location for this international event.

The state of Qatar

In the wake of total development witnessed in the country, the state of Qatar is currently executing large scale projects in the field of construction, buildings and investment throughout the country.

Gas projects: By 2010, the state of Qatar is expected to become the world's leading supplier of liquefied natural gas by exporting 42 million tonnes per annum.

The new Doha international airport: An airport with modern standards which will have a capacity of 12 million passengers per annum that will confirm the state of Qatar as an important regional hub. Its first phase has been launched and the total cost effect is estimated as 2 billion US dollars. The ministry of interor will shoulder the responsibility of security and safety requirements fully at the site.
