Iraqi avitation officials address infrastructure and security issues in London summit

Washington DC, USA

New-Fields confirms that officials from Iraq's ministry of transportation will discuss aviation technology and infrastructure at Iraq's aviation, electricity, and security summit in London on March 28-29.

Iraqi officials directly responsible for the development of reconstruction projects and the allocation of resources will talk about the need to develop and improve transportation infrastructure and security at Iraq's Aviation, Electricity, and Security Summit in London on March 28-29.

Officials from Iraq's transportation ministry are the resource speakers.

Undersecretary and adviser to the minister Abdel Razek Kati Hassan will talk about his country's efforts to reconstruct and upgrade its airport terminals, while the planning department's Director-General Gowded Kazem Khodeir will report on how aviation standards are being raised with the government's aircraft conformance program.

They will join other officials from the transportation ministry, civil aviation authority, and regional airports and Iraqi airways who will take on issues affecting the country's communications and information technology, aviation security, and procurement and investment schemes for utility and infrastructure.

This summit is the seventh in a series of conferences dedicated to rebuilding Iraq. It aims to provide opportunities for Iraq's public officials and business leaders to meet and network with international counterparts about how to overcome the challenges of rebuilding-from the need to develop electricity infrastructure to tackling internal security and civil defense.
