Intersec Dubai to be yet again largest ever in 2014

Contributing to the growth, Dubai SME, the agency of the Department of Economic Development in Dubai hasmandated to promote the small and medium enterprise (SME) sector, and Epoc Messe Frankfurt have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in order to encourage the ongoing growth and development of local SMEs within the security sector.
Mr. Abdul Baset Al Janahi, Chief Executive Officer, Dubai SME and Mr. Ahmed Pauwels, Chief Executive Officer, Epoc Messe Frankfurt GmbH signed the agreement which will facilitate the participation of 10 Dubai-based SMEs at Intersec 2014, taking place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from January 19th to 21st.
Dubai SME is an instrumental agency, which drives the growth and development of small and medium enterprises through dedicated policies and initiatives. Their main aim is to encourage entrepreneurship and assist start up companies to evolve into successful business models.
In addition various organisations from India have confirmed their support for Intersec 2014. The India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), the Security Promotion Group of India (SPGI) and the Fire Protection Association of India (FPAI) work hand in hand to support the Indian Security & Safety industry. At Intersec 2014 the largest participation from India is to be expected. The ITPO alone will join Intersec 2014 with 2 large pavilions in the Security and Fire & Rescue Sections.
