The HandkeyCR, manufactured by Schlage, recognises hand size and shape and matches the handprint to the template originally stored for that employee ID number. If there is a match, access is granted and the entry is recorded. The hand reader features an expandable memory and is field upgradeable. Integrated with Morse Watchmans key cabinets, it can be used together with a PIN or other access device to provide increased security. The HandkeyCR is available now.
