IC Realtime debuts high-performance Pixim-powered cameras in Miami

Miami, Florida (USA)

IC Realtime LLC has integrated the Pixim Digital Pixel System technology in two of its high-performance surveillance cameras. These cameras will be on display at the Americas' Fire and Security Expo, being held at the Miami Beach Convention Center July 29 to 31, 2008. IC Realtime will demonstrate the Pixim-powered cameras - the EL-400 True Day/Night Wide Dynamic Range Mini Dome Camera and the EL-411 True Day/Night Wide Dynamic Range Box Camera - at its booth at the Expo.

IC Realtime will also be displaying the new Pixim Digital Pixel System brand logo, a symbol that stands for superior image quality, regardless of lighting conditions.

"As a Pixim brand partner, IC Realtime has made a commitment to pursue the highest standards of quality and offer a surveillance solution that delivers clear, accurate images," said John Monti, vice president of marketing and business development, Pixim. "These products are sure to receive a strong and positive response at the show."

These new IC Realtime cameras use Pixim's Digital Pixel System technology to deliver the clearest images, even in the most challenging lighting conditions. In fact, the EL-400 dome and EL-411 box cameras offer an ultra-high dynamic range of 102 dB to 120 dB. (The higher the dB measurement, the greater the dynamic range - or the ability for the camera to "see" in both dark and bright areas of a scene simultaneously.)

As a result, the EL-400 and EL-411 cameras are not foiled by variable, high-contrast or other difficult lighting conditions, making them ideal for a variety of applications, including notoriously difficult environments such as doorways (e.g., with indoor-mounted cameras facing outdoors), glassed-in entrances, windowed rooms, warehouses and outdoor settings. The IC Realtime cameras are further enhanced with smart and easy-to-use OSD settings to easily match any lighting conditions.

"Customers are demanding higher levels of performance from security cameras, to better protect their assets and to capture accurate, actionable visual information," said Matt Sailor, president of IC Realtime. "In response to these demands, we incorporated the Pixim Digital Pixel System technology into our EL-400 and EL-411 cameras, to deliver the highest level of performance in the industry. In addition, we took the extra step to become a Pixim brand partner. As a partner, we will engage in joint marketing and training, creating even greater demand for these popular cameras."
