Gunnebo Industrier AB appoints new CEO

Stockholm, Sweden

Jerker Höglund, who has been appointed as the new CEO of Gunnebo Industrier AB, will take over on 9 March. Christer Lenner, the current CEO, will contribute to the company's ongoing growth and development as a member of the Board.

"Gunnebo Industrier is one of Sweden's most distinguished companies," says Mr Höglund. "I feel privileged to have been offered this opportunity, and I am looking forward to working with the company's employees as we face the challenges of the future."

Mr Höglund, who was born in 1970, is currently CEO of Dellner Couplers, an international company that supplies and services couplers and associated products. Previously he was a site manager at ABB Automation Technologies AB in Sollefteå and Key Account Manager at Allgon Mobile Communications. He has a Master of Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and an M.B.A. from the Stockholm School of Economics.

"During the 24 years (7 of which as CEO) that Christer has worked for Gunnebo Industrier, the group has undergone major changes, recently achieving rapid growth and solid profitability," says Board Chairman Jörgen Centerman. "We deeply value the broad, thorough experience that he has acquired and that will be a key ingredient in his ongoing contributions as a member of the Board. We are also happy to have recruited and hired Jerker Höglund as our new CEO."
