The contract award covers the supply, installation and maintenance of a sophisticated entrance control system for the
departure and arrival halls in the existing international airport.

award of this project will open a future business relationship with the Abu Dhabi police department and the Abu Dhabi department
of civil aviation and allowsus to install our equipments as a show case in the region"

The Supervision committee for expansion of Abu Dhabi International Airport (SCADIA ) is currently working on a new 4 million passenger capacity concourse for the exclusive use of Etihad Airways, the UAE national carrier. The concourse, boasting eight gates capable of handling wide-bodied aircraft, will accommodate the airline's growth until 2010, when the new Midfield terminal comes on stream.

A second, 4,100-meter runway will be completed by the fourth quarter of 2007, in time to receive the first batch of the giant Airbus A380s that will join Etihad Airway's fleet starting from early
2008.

The new Midfield terminal complex is designed to handle 20 million passengers annually and is expandable to an ultimate capacity of 50 million.

"The management of high traffic places such airports is a complex process. The selected hidden gates feature data interfaces with the immigration software in order to control the inflows and outflows of passengers. The airport's requirements
for a secure, well designed entrance gates led to Falcon Eye Technology winning the order for 17 customized biparting hidden gates (Hidden Gate BPWT) with two wide passage gates for
the disabled persons" said Jacob Touma, Gunnebo's Middle East area manager.

For just over two years, Gunnebo has been the preferred supplier for entrance control systems for Falcon Eye Technology.

"Everything has turned out exactly as we had hoped for and believed. We have been working together to develop security solutions in general and discussions are still continuing. It is quite conceivable that this co-operation will be extended in the future. Gunnebo has many products that are of interest to us." said Hani Zahloul, operation manager.
