Etherwan showcases Ethernet solutions at Secutech Thailand

Taipei, Taiwan

After exhibiting at Ifsec (UK) and Computex (Taiwan), Etherwan will showcase their latest Ethernet solutions at the Secutech Thailand to be held in Bangkok 30th June to 2nd July.
Ethernet networks are the transport mechanism for Internet Protocol (IP) communications. Although Ethernet has been around since 1973 when the original concept was tested at the Xerox Palo Alto Labs, it has just in the last few years become viable in control system applications and even more recently in CCTV applications.

Ethernet is a technology that is defined by IEEE 802.3 standard. This standard defines the types of media, wire, fibre optics and wireless, the electrical characteristics and the addressing scheme for an Ethernet network.

Etherwan Systems has developed their Ethernet solutions for all applications including IP surveillance, these products will be shown at Secutech including the, PoE product lineup, Fibre-optic Ethernet switches / media converters, IP68 wireless devices with PoE (WA4184), new Ethernet extenders with PoE & network redundancy, and serial to Ethernet (for Intersection tranffic control communication). Their invention and development of improved switching technology has made Ethernet networks more applicable to control system networks, such as traffic and transportation systems.
