According to the organisers, due to recent threats, the Egyptian government are looking to equip their forces with the right tools and training in order to secure the population and control the borders. As a result of this, EDEX has launched the Security & Counter-Terror Zone, where suppliers from the industry can showcase their solutions to the decision makers and influencers who it is expected will be attending the event.
The exhibition will take place at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre in New Cairo from the 3rd to the 5th December this year and is expected to attract over 300 exhibitors and more than 10,000 visitors, plus a fully hosted VIP delegation programme.
The Security & Counter Terror zone at EDEX will highlight various categories of products and services including, border security, port and airport security, critical infrastructure protection, CBRNe, urban security, cyber security, civil security, homeland security, anti-terrorism - special forces, authentication - access control and surveillance, crisis management - civil emergencies.
