The event will take place under the patronage of  His Royal Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Interior and Deputy Prime Minister.

The Fire Safety Technology Forum is known as the annual gathering platform for the senior commanders and staff of Dubai Civil Defence. The Forum reviews industry trends and sets direction for the force’s strategy. The Forum hosts an informal exhibition and regularly invites international fire industry experts to present and debate about incidents and technologies with relevance to the UAE. The programme is open to the public and industry representatives are encouraged to join the event.

Commenting on the event, Major General Expert Rashid Thani Al Matroushi, FIFireE, General Director of Dubai Civil Defence said: "In 2017 we continue to witness ground breaking changes in technologies and infrastructure bringing significant impact on each of us at Civil Defence with regards to technologies, equipment and level of preparedness.
