As in past years, the event was organised by the Union of Information Technology Enterprises with the support of the Armenian government. According to organisers, the goal of Digitec Expo is more than to just demonstrate IT advances, providing a space for communication between companies and clients.

And according to Axxonsoft by all standards, the event was a success: around 130 companies and several thousand visitors took part. One guest of note, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, attended the opening of Digitec Expo 2014 and reviewed the exhibits on offer.

A special role was played by Axxonsoft, the technology partner for Digitec Expo. While Axxonsoft did not participate directly as an exhibitor, those attending could see for themselves the real-world robustness of Axxonsoft-powered security solutions. Among the products demonstrated at the event was Retail Intellect, which is specially designed for the needs of retail operators and was used to count the number of expo visitors.

In addition, Axxonsoft representatives held talks with Universal Systems, МТС, Lanar Service, Netinfo, Intracom Armenia, Redinet CJSC, and other companies.

The company found that Digitec Expo 2014 was an excellent opportunity to demonstrate Axxonsoft software "in the field" but also a valuable venue for forming new partnerships with leading companies in the security industry and related sectors.
