Red Dot is one of the world’s most prestigious and professional design awards and attracts nearly 2,000 entries each year. The final winner was evaluated by the international jury including 40 renowned designers from all over the world. The Dahua TV Box has been included in the “Red Dot Design Yearbook 2014" and in the online exhibition on its official website.

The Dahua full HD TV Box met the jury’s criteria because of its multifunctional use and its classic appearance, allowing it to easily fit into any surroundings. As for its usability, the TV Box fulfills all the functions of a home security system, offers multimedia entertainment and serves as a home gateway. With the help of cloud computing, it can be used, for example, to regulate household technology such as intelligent lighting control. It can also be connected to a Wifi IP camera, which can be managed and monitored from a mobile phone. Equipped with Android OS, this TV Box can also be used for video communication.
