Dahua launches 1.3M WDR network cameras
Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China
The cameras are built with a 1/3-inch 1.3 Megapixel PS CMOS image sensor and advanced DSP technology, and they render quality images with efficient colour reduction, even in low light environments. The minimum illumination is 0.1Lux@F1.2 in colour mode and 0.0005Lux@F1.2 in b/w mode. With realtime recording capacity at a maximum of 1.3 Megapixel (1280x960) resolution, these IP cameras also support dual-stream encoding, which allows video streaming to be transmitted separately for different purposes. Moreover, the built-in SD card design removes the inconvenience which may be experienced due to internet interruption and the incude some additional customised functions, such as dual power supply, PoE, Wi-Fi. Dahua network cameras are all conformant with the latest Onvif standards initiative.
Specifically, the IPC-HF3101 uses a classic design with an industrial standard C/CS port and the IPC-HFW3101C is bullet-style designed with IP66 ingress protection, which means it can also be used outdoors. In addition, the ICR technology and its IR LEDs (20m) together make this camera suitable for night time or dark area surveillance. Structurally, the device is equipped with a bracket to simplify the installation. In addition, its focal lens ranges from 2.8mm to 12mm with an angle of view ranging from 92°~27.2°, satisfying the wide-range surveillance application. As for the domes, which are modular in design, meaning that the components are more flexible and coordinated. The camera designers also gave some consideration to the cable design to benefit the user. The cable interface is inside the dome, which eases installation and reduces manual labour as well as maintaining the elegant apperance of the dome.
The product manager of Dahua Technology said: "The WDR network camera series is what we have planned and worked towards for a long time, and I believe that our customers will be excited to have cameras with such good performance at such a reasonable price."
