Cryptzone group launch Security-as-a-Service platform

Gothenberg, Sweden

Cryptzone Group have just released their first Security as a Service (SaaS) platform. The company is one of the first vendors in the Nordic area to offer Security as a Service, including compliant solutions for USB encryption, Microsoft SharePoint document encryption, secure email communication and file & folder encryption.
SaaS has risen in popularity amongst businesses because of its numerous benefits for customers, including lower up-front costs, no need for additional hardware, high adoption rates and lower support requirements. With the Cryptzone Group’s Security as a Service concept, small and medium sized businesses using hosted services can take advantage of security solutions that have only been affordable or available to large companies up to now.

The uniqueness of the technical platform lies in the advanced license handling which enables the provider to attain fully automated license and billing management. In addition, the platform comes with a sophisticated security roles manager making it possible for the provider to supply every customer with their own management console for the Security as a Service solution.

"Our strategy is to position Cryptzone Group for sustainable growth by establishing the scale and reach the company requires for the future," said Peter Davin, Cryptzone Group CEO. "We have assessed the entire business collaboration cycle and can offer automated Security as a Service solution to all parties involved. This extension will enable us to further strengthen our current offerings to customers, giving them more choice in how they deploy our solutions and provide security with flexibility at a managed cost.”

The 4.7 release of the Simple Encryption Platform includes full support for SaaS Providers. The Software as a Service sector is among the fastest growing segments in the software industry and the company has leveraged their Partner Program for distributors and resellers to profit from the growing trend. Leading European SaaS partners, Cloudmore and TeleComputing have recently signed up to deliver the platform.
