Cibecs initiates campaign to fill gap in the region's security systems
Dubai, UAE
With a high number of home-based and mobile professionals in the Middle East operating from their desktops, most data is not stored on servers, which often means that information is not protected by centralised back-up and archiving systems.
This potential 'gap' in the security system is one that the combined campaign aims to address, by making sure that data protection reaches through to the desktop level.
"We recognise that users do not always follow prescribed IT policies, particularly on their desktop, so we believe that the new solution can address a significant need within the regional market. Cibecs solutions address all those users who think backing up PCs and notebooks everyday is a time-consuming process, by providing a fast method to ensure security,' says Sushma Kajaria, business unit manager - Security & VAD Services.
"As the demand for data protection increases, Cibecs will work with our trusted distributors to help meet the need for our software solutions. Online Distribution has a strong position as one of the leading distributors in the Middle East region and we anticipate a highly successful partnership" comments Richard Dewing, MD, Cibecs.
