CEM security management system secures Kraft Foods in India
Belfast, UK
The AC2000 Lite security system will secure up to 64 doors spread across multiple locations. Using sophisticated AC2000 Lite software features the client can increase operational efficiency and protect against intruders or theft. Applications offered include AC2000 AED (Alarm & Event Display), AC2000 VIPPS (Visual Imaging Pass Production) and Zone Monitor application that shows security which staff work in which areas/zones.
AC2000 VIPPS allows the user to produce permanent and temporary ID badges for staff and visitors to the Kraft Offices & Manufacturing facilities. This will ensure all those on site have an access card with the correct privileges to gain admission to areas throughout the building. If someone forces a door at an access point, the AC2000 AED application can be used to view the alarm and respond to it in real time.
“The Cadbury-Kraft Foods project marks yet another world renowned brand using a sophisticated CEM solution” said Andrew Fulton, Business Development Director, CEM Systems. “AC2000 Lite is a the perfect fit for Cadbury, as it has been designed to meet the complete security needs of small to medium sized sites and features advanced hardware products that are leading the industry”.
To secure doors throughout the factory, Cadbury-Kraft Foods chose CEM eDCM 300 (Door Control Modules). The eDCM 300 low cost, two-door intelligent controller is designed to interface third party readers with the CEM AC2000 system range. Utilising existing Ethernet connectivity without the need to set up additional cabling, the eDCM 300 is extremely easy to install. With an internal database to hold offline transactions the eDCM 300 communicates directly with the AC2000 server, ensuring 24/7 card validation at all times. This ensures that the factory is always kept secure.
