It is estimated that the biometrics market for the Middle East totals somewhere around the region of 700 million US Dollars and is expected to grow at a good pace over the next few years with many projects already reported as being in the pipeline or under tender.
This currently makes the Middle Eastern markets some of the most attractive and potentially lucrative markets in the World for manufacturers and suppliers of security technology and biometric product solutions.
The organisers of the show say that the World market for biometrics is valued at some 2.1 billion US dollars for 2006, and is expected to rise to 5.7 billion US dollars in 2010.

Cairo Egypt venue for Biometricx 2007
Biometricx 2007 will take place in Cairo, Eypt next year over three days from the 6th - 8th May 2007. The show is said to be unique in that it is the only biometrics exhibition and conference throughout the whole of the Middle East and Africa.
