The show, which is taking place on 13 and 14 September at Brussels Expo in Belgium, has attracted many of the industry's leading suppliers of security systems, products and services including GE Security, Honeywell, IGE LEGIC SYAGEN, Bewator AB, L-3 Security and Detection Systems, Dallmeier Electronic, to name only a few.
Alongside the show is a top-level conference that will focus on topics such as global security risk analysis, preventing terrorist attacks, an architectural perspective on new airport and port security, an update on the ISPS Code for maritime security and the training of security staff.
APS Asia 2005 attracted over 2,200 visitors that included heads of security from airports, airlines, seaports, shipping, supply chain operatives, government agencies and integrators of security. Commenting on the event Nicky Dinneen, Marketing & Events Manager for L-3 Security and Detection Systems, said: "It was a fantastic event which was well attended and our business will grow as a result of our attendance."
Fellow exhibitor Ferry Brussaard of Ingersoll Rand Maritime Solutions agreed: "The quality of the leads has been excellent. We established many worldwide contacts with high-ranking officials from major port facilities."
Even though the event take place in Europe, the APS Europe will of course even attract visitors from other parts of the world and the Middle East attendants are of course of great importance.
