BQT's miPASS chosen by the Dubai world trade centre residential complex

Dubai, UAE

BQT Solutions Limited announces that BQT's miPASS smart card security technology has been selected to secure the new Dubai world trade centre residential complex consisting of 490 apartments.

"The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) was built by H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai. DWTC is considered one of Dubai's premier landmark properties and business locations. Today, the complex comprises the original 39-storey office tower, eight exhibition halls, the Dubai international convention centre, which can accommodate more than 6,500 delegates in its multipurpose hall when set in auditorium style, a business club, and residential apartments with a leisure club"

The Dubai world trade centre has become the most prestigious building in Dubai's skyline and is one of the tallest in the region. Tenants in the building consist of the "who's who" of international business, and as such require the highest level of security available.

BQT's high security miPASS reader range and smart cards offer security and flexibility through customisation and encryption options to suit most functionality requirements ensuring unrivalled security from the reader to the card, and therefore the ideal choice for securing the DWTC.
