Avermedia confirms market demand for hybrid IP systems

Taipei, Taiwan

Avermedia recently confirmed they had seen a great deal of interest when providing total surveillance solutions at both Secutech and Ifsec this year.
The most eye-catching Avermedia product at the exhibition was the white, compact size with modern exterior design of the EH1000H-4 Nano Series. It is a price-friendly hybrid solution set to target small to medium-sized businesses and retail chain stores. The EH1000H-4 Nano Series offers three different types of video input support, ranging from 4CH, 8CH, to the most lightweight and compact 16CH hybrid DVR on the market.

However, Avermedia also demonstrated the professional IWH Series that is positioned to target sophisticated security projects such as the government agency, university campus, business centre, and shopping mall.

"We are confident that the surveillance market trend is leaning towards IP technology with HD resolution as I have seen in both major exhibitions, but at the same time, with the well-developed analogue infrastructure in the past decade, a hybrid surveillance system that can adopt both types of cameras with advance supports would surely fulfill customers’ expectation." Said James Chang, Vice president of Avermedia Information Inc. "We once again re-confirmed our hybrid strategy at these exhibitions by talking with our clients and we are expecting increased sales with our existing and potential partners."
