Aperio locks integrate with C-Cure 9000

London, UK

Assa Abloy Aperio integrates with Software House C-Cure 9000

The recently established technology partnership between Assa Abloy and Tyco Security Products has resulted in the successful integration of Aperio wireless lock technology with the C-Cure 9000 security and event management system.

The seamless integration ensures Aperio wireless locks communicate effectively with C-Cure 9000 via Istar Ultra door controllers and by doing so provide the flexibility to expand an access control system to cover virtually almost every opening in any environment.

With no need for any additional wiring, Aperio locks can be easily added to an existing system with little or no operational disruption, as a link between iSTAR Ultra door controllers and an Aperio wireless hub enables Aperio locks to communicate directly with C▪CURE 9000. Online transactions mean that C▪CURE 9000 is updated in real-time, guaranteeing a high level of control and visibility of door activity, whilst AES 128-bit encryption ensures data security.

“This is a great example of two leading manufactures within the security sector, both expert in their respective fields, working closely together for the benefit of our mutual customers,” said Rafael Schrijvers, Access Control Product Marketing Manager, EMEA for Tyco Security Products, part of Johnson Controls. “C•CURE 9000 and Aperio wireless locks are increasingly being specified to work together on a wide range of security projects. The deep level of integration achieved between the two technologies will ensure systems integrators will now find it much easier to implement a combined solution.”

A similar level of integration has also been achieved between Aperio and Tyco Security Products’ Kantech Entrapass and CEM AC2000 access control software.
