2015 Detektor International Awards Finalists Revealed

Stockholm, Sweden

It is time once again to reveal the finalists for three of the most prestigious awards in the security industry - The Detektor International Awards 2015.

Today we begin with the Access Control category finalists, tomorrow will be the Alarm & Detection category finalists and on Wednesday we will reveal the final candidates in the CCTV category.

Many hundreds of products are launched into the security industry each year, but only a small minority are truly inspirational. The Detektor International Awards aim to highlight and reward only those that display the most genuine innovation. To celebrate the high status of these awards, each year unique glass sculptures are created especially for the winners by a renowned Swedish artist. The resulting works of art are presented to the overall winners and are designed to reflect a dedication to innovation and original design.

Since inception as an independent event, companies cannot apply to be included. Instead, over the 12 to 18 months prior to the awards ceremony, the panel of Detektor International judges scrutinise the industry for potential candidates. This year in particular presented quite a challenge as so many diverse product innovations were launched from every corner of the globe and every spectrum of the industry. And now, after much deliberation a shortlist of four finalists have been selected in each of three categories: Access Control, Alarm & Detection and CCTV.
