MPEG-4 and MJPEG compatibility enables the user to transmit video streams in any of these formats for versatile applications. The FD8136 also comes with selectable focal lengths suitable for various environments, including but not limited to: offices, elevators, campus, chain stores, boutique stores and health care facilities.

Designed with a built-in SD/SDHC card slot for on-board storage, the FD8136 allows recording to take place independently on the camera itself. This stand-alone device also boasts user-friendly installation, power over ethernet (PoE) functionality and a choice of either black or white casing colours.
