Tdsi appoints new Marketing Manager

Nick Mercer has already begun his new role as Marketing Manager at Tdsi

Integrated security manufacturer Tdsi has appointed Nick Mercer as Marketing Manager. Based at the company’s global headquarters in Poole, Dorset, Nick will oversee the overall marketing functions along with enhancing the accessibility of information, enabling customers and partners to enjoy the full benefits of Tdsi’s expanding portfolio of integrated security solutions and products.

John Davies, Tdsi’s Managing Director commented, “We are always keen to attract and employ the best people in the industry and Nick is the perfect example of this. With over a decade’s experience in Marketing, Brand and Design, and having worked within a broad variety of marketing roles he brings exactly the expertise Tdsi needs as we continue to evolve and grow in the post-pandemic landscape. We are delighted to welcome Nick to the team to support us in these exciting times.”

With a First-Class Honours BA in Marketing with Media and Design, a Postgraduate Diploma in Brand Development, and a solid track record in Marketing management roles before joining Tdsi, Nick has considerable training and experience in taking products and services to market. On his move to Tdsi and the security industry Nick stated, “It’s an exciting new challenge in a new industry for me. After meeting with John Davies and hearing about Tdsi and the company’s plans for the next couple of years, it was an easy decision to make.”

Nick is already firmly at the helm of the Tdsi Marketing Department and commented, “In the first instance there’s always a period where you’re taking as much in as possible, fortunately Tdsi are exhibiting at several events in the first few months of 2022 so I’ve been straight in at the deep end, making sure everything is on track and organised for those, which has been great. In addition, there are a number of exciting new products, enhancements and integrations on the horizon so there’s certainly a lot going on.”

Alongside his Marketing career, Nick is a keen Southampton FC Season Ticket holder and stays active through running and cycling. He has a clear vision for his ongoing mission to support TDSi’s impressive growth and development, “Moving forward, I’m keen to develop new ways to ensure our customers and potential customers can easily access the information they need, to make informed decisions about the products and integrations we have to offer. We’re already looking at a number of options to add to our communication and content strategies to support this.”
