Pacom invests to grow Nordics presence

Stockholm, Sweden and Sydney, Australia

Pacom has named Mårten Gunnarsson as General Manager for Pacom Nordics.

Pacom is making an investment in incremental technical resources in Sweden to drive the acceleration of the Pacom Unison solution. The investment is part of the stated objective to accelerate the growth of the Unison solution in Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark.

Pacom Unison is a solution designed for organisations within vertical sectors such as healthcare, universities, commercial buildings, public facilities, municipalities, airports, shipping ports and data centres. While helping to protect people, property and assets, it also helps to improve operational efficiency and streamline processes to promote organisational excellence.

In addition to the incremental resources, the product development function will be transitioned to Sweden to facilitate market research, voice of customer feedback and enhanced development of the product roadmap to meet the local market needs.

As a part of this strategic investment, Pacom has named Mårten Gunnarsson as General Manager for Pacom Nordics. In this role, he will be responsible for the sales, customer support, operations, product develop and engineering teams. He will aim to grow the business and promote the unique advantages of Pacom’s cutting edge solutions to organisations across Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark in line with the company’s strategic growth plan for the region. Mårten brings strong experience with over 20 years in the security industry in both technical and commercial roles, most recently as director of the Products Team at Stanley Security, Nordics. Mårten joins an already strong Pacom Sweden team that will now drive the direction for Pacom Unison.

Gunnarsson commented, ‘I’m really excited to be part of the PACOM team on this journey to strengthen its position in the Nordic market. I am joining an already strong PACOM team in

Sweden that will now shape the direction for PACOM Unison, and I see great potential for improvement in an already excellent product. I believe it is key to have development resources close to the user to ensure we understand the ongoing needs of our customers.’
