The Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) has renewed its contract to continue using Nexus Smart ID for its cyber security requirements the coming years

The Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) is a leading regional bank, listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE). An affiliate of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), DTB has operated in East Africa for over seventy years.

With over one hundred and thirty branches in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Burundi, some of which are 24/7 digital branches, DTB is committed to enabling people to advance with confidence and success.

To further strengthen its cyber security resilience, DTB chose Nexus Smart ID to enable secure digital access for their employees across Uganda, Tanzania, and Burundi offices.

The Smart ID Mobile App offers DTB’s workforce an intuitive and user-friendly option for multi-factor authentication. The app is used to log in to corporate devices and resources such as, Windows workstations, Windows servers, Linux servers and Solaris servers.

According to the company, Nexus was selected based on its proven expertise in the banking sector, and its flexibility in delivering the solution quickly.
