Copiax and Johnson Controls strengthen partnership in Sweden

Stockholm, Sweden

Martin Thor and Jonas Adlergård

Copiax is now partnering with Johnson Controls, with its over fifty strong brands such as Visonic, DSC, Bentel, Ansul and Zettler in more than 150 countries. Johnson Controls addresses the real estate market with equipment for, among other things, energy control, property management and security. The collaboration with Copiax concerns well-proven and reputable Visonic and Qolsys, which aim to set a new standard in home alarms with the IQ Panel.

Copiax has previously sold parts of the product range via a distributor, but is now investing in taking a holistic approach to Visonic Powermaster and the launch of the new IQ Panel from Qolsys.

“We are very happy about the cooperation and grateful for the trust. Both Visonic and IQ Panel are systems that fit well into our portfolio and with this approach we have a strong offer to the market ", says Martin Thor, Product Manager at Copiax.

Johnson Controls acquired the 2020 California-based company Qolsys and incorporated their successful technology into what was launched as the IQ Panel. The collaboration immediately bore fruit and now around 60,000 new systems are installed every month around the world.

"We at Copiax are happy to be able to participate and drive development in Sweden for these very competent systems," says Martin Thor.

"Johnson Controls is growing and investing in the Nordic region and for us, the collaboration with Copiax is a way to optimise both sales and visibility in the Swedish market," says Jonas Adlergård, Nordic Sales Manager Intrusion Solutions at Johnson Controls.
