WV NP1000 series mega pixel colour camera

The latest Colour Network Camera from Panasonic boasts a 1.25 Mega Pixel CCD and dual streaming, to deliver both seamless motion MPEG4 and high precision JPEG images.

With 600 TV lines of horizontal resolution, it givees high quality analogue output. Add to this the combination of networked operation convenience and high reliability, and it is clear to see that Panasonic's latest offering is ideal for high-profile applications including banks, office buildings, shopping malls, airports and school surveillance requirements.
The WV-NP1000 comes equipped with Progressive Scan, which is utilised by the 1,280 x 960 pixel CCD to smoothly reproduce images of moving subjects. Compared to conventional images, the JPEG image of the WV-NP1000 is able to cover an area four times wider than before and can capture VGA (640 x 480) MPEG-4/JPEG images, outputting them over the network at 25 fps in partial scan mode.
Panasonic's new camera allows real time monitoring in MPEG-4 while simultaneously shooting high-resolution JPEG (960 x 720: Max 7.5 fps) images. Supporting a highly efficient network environment, the WV-NP1000 also provides the high level of reliability required by today's surveillance applications.
As the area around the camera darkens, it automatically switches to black and white mode. Then, when lighting brightens, it automatically switches back to full-colour mode, allowing use of a single camera for 24-hour surveillance. The WV-NP1000 also features Auto Image Stabiliser that enables the camera to automatically adjust when vibrations caused by strong winds, passing trains or trucks are experienced, keeping images clear and easy to read.
When using the optional F1.4 lens, the WV-NP1000 in colour mode can capture clear images in lighting as low as 1.0lux. In black and white mode, the lighting can be as low as 0.06lux and sensitivity can be electronically enhanced 32x with analogue output resolution at up to 600 TV lines in colour mode or 780 TV lines in black and white
The WV-NP1000 also features Auto Back Focus, which adjusts the position of the CCD as the camera switches to black and white mode, keeping focus sharp and clear. In addition, one-push Auto Focus eliminates the need for manual focus adjustment during installations also allowing focus to be adjusted remotely, using the setup menu or optional controller.
The camera has a number of additional features including privacy zone masking for up to eight locations; alarm signals sounded when movement in the area under surveillance is detected; alarm e-mail notification to a maximum of four addresses; high sensitivity microphone built-in for complete monitoring of the situation; and screen change alerts if any vandalism or interference with the camera is experienced.
The WV-NP1000 includes the SD memory card information support option. If your network crashes, these cameras can automatically backup surveillance images (when images are being transmitted regularly to an FTP server) onto the SD memory card, enabling you to check captured images at anytime, even if the network is down.
The WV-NP1000 can also restrict access to the captured images and data records by password protecting all content. Access can be authorised for up to 8 IP hosts and restricted by name and password to up to 16 users, making this mega pixel colour network camera more secure than ever before.
