VisualGate and ADI reach distribution agreement
Toronto (Canada)
VisualGate Systems utilizes innovative new technology that can set up instant networking within any building by using existing electrical wiring. This allows video, audio and control data to be transmitted over the building's wiring, which eliminates the need for additional cabling for video surveillance applications. This secure, non-invasive environment will benefit commercial, government and residential customers, and provide installers with a complete solution that is easily accessible while reducing costs.
"This agreement with ADI not only validates that VisualGate's ground-breaking SVoP products are an exciting new solution to the security industry, it also marks an important achievement in the execution of our strategic plan," says David Kerzner, president and CEO of VisualGate Systems "Through ADI we will be able to expand our reach by introducing this new technology
to security professionals across North America, and ultimately many other areas of the globe"
VisualGate Systems has developed the PL-VUE solution which provides a complete video surveillance system with embedded IP technology to offer increased portability and scalability. The system utilizes existing electrical wiring in a building to transmit secure video signals from both analog and IP cameras to a local or remote PC to monitor and manage security footage. The company's products include Powerline cameras, adapters, encoders, digital network video recorders and proprietary software for recording and managing video surveillance activities.
"At ADI, it is important for us to equip our dealers with latest cutting-edge technology to gain a
competitive edge in the marketplace," says Nick LaBella, director of product marketing for CCTV at ADI "We are pleased to add VisualGate Systems as an ADI vendor to deliver this revolutionary SVoP technology to the security industry"
