Viscount secures US rail carrier

Viscount Systems' Mesh is being installed by one of the largest rail carriers in the US to provide security at key facilities. The installations included a beta site as well as an initial commercial sale. The facilities being secured are for maintenance and administration. Further projects are anticipated for 2008.
"VSI Viscount continues to expand the scope and type of facilities using Mesh. Large users now see Mesh as a proven technology and this is escalating the interest in the technology. We are becoming increasingly optimistic that 2008 will be the breakout year for Mesh we have been anticipating," noted Stephen Pineau, president and CEO of VSI Viscount.
