As a result of the acquisition Videoiq has made a statement to reassure their client base and to answer any questions that may have arisen regarding the transition.

According to the company, for their partners, this acquisition means immediate scalability, stability and innovation for the entire Videoiq product line. It brings the benefit of being able to leverage Avigilon's business resources, operations, global sales channel and talented development team to accelerate the expansion and delivery of Videoiq’s technology roadmap.

It will be business as usual in terms of the Videoiq sales channels, as the statement explains.  "While there are transition plans in place for the coming months, please be assured that it will continue to be business as usual in your day-to-day dealing with Videoiq. As well, all existing Videoiq products, including all of our hardware and software solutions, remain available through the same Videoiq sales channels as you’ve used in the past."

The company would like the transition to be as seamless and as painless as possible for their network of partners and clients, and, if there are any changes to the plan, then the company has promised to provide ample notice and to make good on any existing projects on the table.

The company has compiled an FAQ document on the company web site that they hope will clarify the existing processes to interested parties.
