Viakoo refreshes online presence

Mountain View, Ca

Viakoo has launched a new website to reflect the company's evolved focus on enterprise device management.

The new website features the Viakoo Action Platform, and its four core pillars: Service Assurance, Firmware Updates, Password Verification and Certificate Management. To help IT professionals better manage critical enterprise IoT device and physical security applications, the new website also features a wealth of insightful information and resources.

"The proliferation of IoT devices across myriad enterprise applications such as physical security has changed the way networks need to be managed to ensure consistent, uninterrupted and secure operation," said Bud Broomhead, Founder and CEO, Viakoo. "We've continued to evolve and supplement our field proven service assurance solution into this latest evolution which we've branding the Viakoo Action Platform. Our new website reflects this shift in mindset from focusing specifically on applications to a broadened perspective on all IoT enterprise devices."

The Viakoo Action Platform provides a digital model of networked IoT devices to analyse and verify performance while maintaining the overall integrity of the network. An automated IoT enablement solution, the Viakoo Action Platform runs advanced analytics to provide early problem detection, scientific diagnosis, and recommended courses of action to ensure that all IoT devices are fully documented and in continuous compliance. And since no network-accessible system is completely safe, and no industry, government, or private network is immune, the Viakoo Action Platform ensures cyber security protection of every networked IoT device.

"Physical security systems remain one of the core applications that Viakoo services, which was the genesis of our focus on IoT devices given the high incidence of enterprise cyber attacks launched through physical security system devices," continued Broomhead. "The Viakoo Action Platform leverages our experience with physical security systems to now include all IoT devices making it application agnostic, and more relevant than ever."
