Biometrics 2011 in Westminster, London, 18-20 October 2011 is a platform for promoting biometric, smart card and related ID solutions. Last year, Biometrics attracted some 1,500 visitors and 50 exhibitors. This year will be the 14th edition of the fair and it focuses entirely on advanced technologies for identification, targeting vendors, systems integrators, consultants and end customers.
Biometrics 2011 will review the latest standards, testing and government policy and outline what needs to be done to ensure broader practical implementation of the technology. The exhibition is a platform for promoting biometric, smart card and related ID solutions.
The conference programme is comprehensive, and matters for discussion include subjects such as the status of the FBI's next generation identification system, advancements in the use of biometrics and identity management for US travel documents and mapping fingerprints for border control: “features” of the European experience around the Schengen “core”.
