Select Security purchases accounts from Wacor and Alarm Capital Alliance
Lancaster, PA; Williamsport, PA; and Altoona, PA (USA)
In the wake of closing a financing deal with Bank of America, Select Security purchased nearly 1,000 monitoring and service accountsfrom Lancaster-based WACOR ElectronicSystems,Inc.(WACOR) and Media, PA based Alarm Capital Alliance (ACA), allowing Select Security to increase their presence in the Central Pennsylvania security alarm market.
Select Security finalized the account acquisitions with WACOR and ACA on July 31, 2008, and August 29, 2008, respectively. Alarm systems will now be monitored by Select Security in their CSAA 5-Diamond Certified Central Monitoring Station. The monitoring station is Underwriters Laboratories(UL) listed and Factory Mutual (FM) approved, which ensures compliance with the highest standards for response time, automated record keeping, and alarm response procedures.
