Pulse Secure extends platform support to Chrome

Pulse Secure, the mobile security and access specialist, has extended its platform support with the immediate availability of a Pulse Secure Client for the Google Chrome Operating System (OS). Pulse Secure is  believed to be the first leading vendor to offer this secure access solution for Chrome.

The Pulse Secure Client for Chrome for Work provides secure connectivity between a device running Chrome OS, such as Google Chromebooks, and Pulse Connect Secure, the company’s SSL VPN solution. After installing the Pulse Secure application on a Chrome OS device, users can configure a connection and establish Layer 3 VPN (SSL) communications.
